Our History

Clinic opens in August 2007

The clinic became a dream of founder Gayle Davidson while serving on short term mission trips with Co-leader Tim Hines since 1999. Without negating the value of medical care provided in villages, we understood that access to long term care could change lives in a more powerful way.

Today the clinic is operated from an original 40 year old building on Land purchased by IRC board of directors. (InterAmerican Restoration Corporation).

The clinic was made possible under the Executive Director Tim Hines; the support if the IRC Board of directors and the efforts of Paul Behrenberg, Timoteo Estrada, Mark Connell, Gina Larios, Joe Merrilot, and Carmen Rojas,  who were invaluable in getting the doors to the clinic open. Financial supporters and Torch teams from across the nation have made the dream a reality.
